Helpmiki Subscription Terms
Last updated: 2026-09-20. These Subscription Terms explain Helpmiki paid plans, story credits, audio credits, and Apple App Store billing for the iOS app. They supplement the Terms of Service.
1. Apple App Store Billing
Paid digital products in the Helpmiki iOS app are purchased through Apple App Store In-App Purchase. Apple handles payment processing, taxes where applicable, subscription renewal, cancellation, payment method management, and refund requests. Helpmiki does not receive your full payment card number.
2. Plans
- Free: one lifetime story generation per account.
- Guided Support: 15 story generations per Apple subscription billing period.
- Growth Path: 50 story generations per Apple subscription billing period.
Included allowances reset on the subscription renewal date shown by Apple and do not roll over. If a customer upgrades during a billing period, the higher limit applies immediately and stories already used in that period remain counted. Plan names describe story access; no therapy or professional care is included. Prices and billing periods are shown before purchase.
3. Renewal And Cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically through Apple unless canceled. Manage or cancel renewal in your Apple Account subscription settings. Canceling renewal generally leaves your paid access available until the end of the current paid period. A refund, revocation, or other change in verified billing status may affect access earlier. Deleting the app or your Helpmiki account does not cancel your Apple subscription.
4. Refunds
For an App Store purchase refund, use Apple’s refund request tools. Approval is subject to the applicable purchase terms and law. Contact Helpmiki if a verified purchase has not been credited correctly. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
5. Story Credits
Purchased story pack credits require an active eligible subscription and are used after the included story allowance is exhausted. A credit or included generation is reserved when a request starts and consumed when a story is successfully saved. Failed, blocked, or canceled requests release the reservation if no story was saved. Returning an internal credit is not a refund of an Apple purchase.
6. Audio Credits
Purchased audio credits do not require a monthly subscription. You must be entitled to access the story and the story must support narration. One credit is reserved for a new narration request and consumed when the complete narration is ready. A failed narration releases its reservation, including when a partial audio preview was available. Playing existing audio does not use another credit.
7. Credit Expiration
Purchased story and audio credits do not expire. Included monthly allowances are separate from purchased credits and do not roll over. Turning off renewal does not erase unused purchased credits. Story pack credits can be used again after an eligible subscription is active.
Account deletion removes account access and cannot be used to restore a consumed balance. Before deleting an account, contact support about unused purchased credits. Mandatory refund and consumer rights remain available.
8. Subscription Access And Library Access
Turning off renewal normally leaves paid access available until the end of the paid period. Refunds, revocation, or changes in verified billing status may end access earlier.
- After paid access ends, included monthly generation and use of story pack credits are unavailable. The Free plan’s one lifetime generation applies only if it has not already been used.
- Previously created personal stories are not automatically deleted because a subscription ends. Copies already exported remain on the devices or services where you saved or shared them.
- Subscriber Library stories and the current Weekly Story require an active eligible subscription. Weekly Story is not a free sample and is not yet available in the current beta. Marked Library samples are available without a subscription; the free selection may change.
- Optional narration requires story access. Previously acquired credits remain non-expiring.
9. Verification And Fraud Prevention
Helpmiki verifies App Store transactions and may store transaction identifiers, product identifiers, subscription status, and related records to grant entitlements, prevent duplicate credit grants, resolve support issues, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
